In this commit, we update the ChanSyncMsg to populate nonce information.
With this change, we can now hide nonce generation further down in the
pipeline and ensure that all callers will have the expected fields
populated.
In this commit, we update the genHtlcSigValidationJobs function to be
taproot aware. As we actually need a schnorr signature for the taproot
validation, we need to coerce the entire wire type into a schnorr sig
with the ForceSchnorr() method.
We know that onion blobs in lightning are _exactly_ 1366 bytes in
lightning, but they are currently expressed as a byte slice in
channeldb's HTLC struct. Blobs are currently serialized as var bytes,
so we can take advantage of this known length and variable length
to add additional data to the inline serialization of our HTLCs, which
are otherwise not easily extensible (without creating a new bucket).
We add a Memo field to the OpenChannel DB struct. We also persist
it using a tlv record. We then pass the Memo value from the
InitFundingReserveMsg when creating a new reservation for the channel.
Finally, we also read Memo field when fetching channel from DB.
This commit replaces `FundingLocked` found in docs using the following
command,
```shell
find . -name "*.go" -exec sed -i '' 's/FundingLocked/ChannelReady/g' {} \;
find . -name "*.go" -exec sed -i '' 's/FundingLock/ChannelReady/g' {} \;
```
In this commit, a new `--db.no-rev-log-amt-data` flag is added. The
config option is passed though to everywhere that it will be used. Note
that it is still a no-op in this commit. An upcoming commit will make
use of the flag.
Add a new subpackage to `lnd/channeldb` to hold some of the types that
are used in the package itself and in other packages that should not
depend on `channeldb`.
This introduces a BigSize migration that is used to expand the width
of the ChannelStatus and ChannelType fields. Three channel "types"
are added - ZeroConfBit, ScidAliasChanBit, and ScidAliasFeatureBit.
ScidAliasChanBit denotes that the scid-alias channel type was
negotiated for the channel. ScidAliasFeatureBit denotes that the
scid-alias feature bit was negotiated during the *lifetime* of the
channel. Several helper functions on the OpenChannel struct are
exposed to aid callers from different packages.
The RefreshShortChanID has been renamed to Refresh.
A new function BroadcastHeight is used to guard access to the
mutable FundingBroadcastHeight member. This prevents data races.
This commit adds `revocationLogBucket` using the new sub-bucket key
"revocation-log" to store the minimal info needed. Two structs,
`RevocationLog` and `HTLCEntry` are created to represent the disk
records.
This commit deletes the function `BalancesAtHeight` since its only
usague is to find the push amount, which can be achieved by saving the
initial balances.
Another reason to remove it is to pave the way to incooperate our new
revocation log. If we ever need this function again, we can add it back
by visiting all the revocation logs to calculate the balances at a given
height.
This commit replaces the method RevocationLogTail which in used in our
unit test with a private method revocationLogTailCommitHeight. The new
method returns the commit height only since that's what's needed in the
test.
This commit was previously split into the following parts to ease
review:
- 2d746f68: replace imports
- 4008f0fd: use ecdsa.Signature
- 849e33d1: remove btcec.S256()
- b8f6ebbd: use v2 library correctly
- fa80bca9: bump go modules
This commit adds a RevocationKeyLocator field to the OpenChannel
struct so that the SCB derivation doesn't have to brute-force the
sha chain root key and match the public key. ECDH derivation is now
used to derive the key instead of regular private key derivation a
la DerivePrivKey. The legacy can still be used to recover old
channels.
In this commit, we modify the way we write wire messages across the
entire database. We'll now ensure that we always write wire messages
with a length prefix. We update the `codec.go` file to always write a 2
byte length prefix, this affects the way we write the `CommitDiff` and
`LogUpdates` struct to disk, and the network results bucket in the
switch as it includes a wire message.
Adds an outpoint index that stores a tlv stream. Currently the stream
only contains the outpoint's indexStatus. This should cut down on
big bbolt transactions in several places throughout the codebase.
Similar to what we did for the local state handling, we extract handling
all known remote states we can act on (breach, current, pending state)
into its own method.
Since we want to handle the case where we lost state (both in case of
local and remote close) last, we don't rely on the remote state number
to check which commit we are looking at, but match on TXIDs directly.
