e0e879c003 common: remove type_to_string files altogther.
This means including <common/utils.h> where it was indirectly included.

37d22f9141 global: change all type_to_string to fmt_X.
This has the benefit of being shorter, as well as more reliable (you
will get a link error if we can't print it, not a runtime one!).

1cd53ae53e lightningd: fix watch on existing tx.
We never do this, but we're about to (we always watch before
we broadcast a tx).

We use a `depth` member to avoid calling the callback multiple times
for the same event, but we initialize it to 0. This means if we
register a watch, and the first thing that happens is that it
reorganizes out, we *don't* make the callback.

Use an impossible value at initialization, instead.

c074fe050f lightningd/log: clean up nomenclature.
`struct log` becomes `struct logger`, and the member which points to the
`struct log_book` becomes `->log_book` not `->lr`.

Also, we don't need to keep the log_book in struct plugin, since it has
access to ld's log_book.

44d9e8d9c5 Remove names of parameters of callbacks which confuse gcc.
We annotate them with UNNEEDED, which is legal but weird, but it
makes gcc (at least 11.2.0) complain about shadowing:

	https://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=106424

I simply removed the names.

4ffda340d3 check: make sure all files outside contrib/ include "config.h" first.
And turn "" includes into full-path (which makes it easier to put
config.h first, and finds some cases check-includes.sh missed
previously).

config.h sets _GNU_SOURCE which really needs to be done before any
'#includes': we mainly got away with it with glibc, but other platforms
like Alpine may have stricter requirements.

f1bea55395 lightningd: fix occasional missing txid detection.
I was working on rewriting our (somewhat chaotic) tx watching code
for 0.7.2, when I found this bug: we don't always notice the funding
tx in corner cases where more than one block is detected at
once.

This is just the one commit needed to fix the problem: it has some
unnecessary changes, but I'd prefer not to diverge too far from my
cleanup-txwatch branch.

05f12edf60 txwatch: hand ld to callback, don't assume channel is non-NULL.
We're about to use the txwatch facility for UTXOs, where there's no channel,
so allow that the be NULL, and hand the struct lightningd which callers
want anyway.

fed5a117e7 Update ccan/structeq.
structeq() is too dangerous: if a structure has padding, it can fail
silently.

The new ccan/structeq instead provides a macro to define foo_eq(),
which does the right thing in case of padding (which none of our
structures currently have anyway).

Upgrade ccan, and use it everywhere. Except run-peer-wire.c, which
is only testing code and can use raw memcmp(): valgrind will tell us
if padding exists.

Interestingly, we still declared short_channel_id_eq, even though
we didn't define it any more!

aa696370af txwatch: Switch to passing only txid into the depth callbacks
All of the callback functions were only using the tx to generate the txid again,
so we just pass that in directly and save passing the tx itself.

This is a simplification to move to the DB backed depth callbacks. It'd be
rather wasteful to read the rawtx and deserialize just to serialize right away
again to find the txid, when we already searched the DB for exactly that txid.

0237e0b28c bitcoin: create new wrapper type bitcoin_txid, log backward endianness.
It's just a sha256_double, but importantly when we convert it to a
string (in type_to_string, which is used in logging) we use
bitcoin_txid_to_hex() so it's reversed as people expect.
