c342f204b2 common/wire: update, don't replace fields array in TLV structures.
Regnerating them entirely loses unknown fields.

9450d46db1 bitcoin/short_channel_id: pass by copy everywhere.
It's a u64, we should pass by copy. This is a big sweeping change,
but mainly mechanical (change one, compile, fix breakage, repeat).

83ee68ab06 common/tlvstream: put TLV checking back in the generic function.
Callers were supposed to call "tlv_fields_valid" after fromwire_tlv,
but few did. Make this the default, and call the underlying function
directly where we want to be more flexible (one place).

This loses the ability to allow misordered fields, or to pass through
*any* even fields. We restore that for special cases in the next
patch.

6f7d51ee68 common/onion: always fill in failtlvtype and failtlvpos parameters.
When we did fill them in, we filled them in wrong: the offset should be
the offset in the message, not the field number!

aba9af9e12 tlv: Add sorting of the tlvstream
So far we didn't need this since we were adding them in the correct
order. Now we have multiple possible origins so we better sort them.

06a54606a3 check-includes: allow redundant "config.h"
We should actually be including this (as it may define _GNU_SOURCE
etc) before any system headers. But where we include <assert.h> we
often didn't, because check-includes would complain that the headers
included it too.

Weaken that check, and include config.h in C files before assert.h.

ff8830876d wire/tlvstream: add tlv_make_fields helper to populate ->fields array.
This is vital for calculating merkle trees; I previously used
towire+fromwire to get this!

Requires generation change so we can magic the ARRAY_SIZE var (the C
pre-processor can't uppercase things).

cb9debc229 tlv: Add generic getters and setters for tlvstream
Trying to rework the TLV streams to have a more homogenous interface to work
with. This is by no means a complete implementation, just the groundwork that
is going to be used by the wire code generator to generate the specific
accessors, but it's enough so we can manipulate TLV streams in the onion and
later just switch to the generated ones.

Use a pointer, so it's explicit and gcc is happy. We avoid the
